Quitterie has tan skin with blonde hair and violet eyes. She keeps her long hair tied in pigtails with round pink clips and a purple hairband bearing a yellow star on it. Her crust suit, an SMB make, is mostly white, pink, and black with purple and green highlights.
As a result of being shunned by her mother Olive, Quitterie adopted a cold, arrogant attitude toward those around her, as well as a tendency to act authoritatively, a method she used to assert herself as better than others. The time she spent on the voyage of the Astra with the rest of the crew gave her the chance to grow softer in her relationships with others, and to open herself up to people.
In 2063 A.D., Quitterie gathers at Mousanish Spaceport along with the other members of Group B-5 except for Aries Spring and Kanata Hoshijima, the former of whom join them shortly afterward and introduces herself. Quitterie is introduced by the teacher with her younger sister Funicia, who will be joining them as part of a unique task to take care of and teach a younger child. When Funicia takes out her puppet Beego and starts to badmouth Luca Esposito, she scolds her. When Kanata finally arrives and proclaims himself as the leader of the group, Quitterrie lashes out at him for being late and wanting to boss the group around. The group then boards their spaceship to begin their four-hour journey to Planet McPa. Aboard the spaceship, she speaks to Aries and says that she's only on the journey for class credit and that she has no intention of getting along with anyone. When the teacher gives the kids permission to move around the cabin, Quitterie complains that they still have four hours to go and asks if there are a t.v. around. Upon landing, they exit the spaceship and walk around for a bit when Luca points out a strange globe that's been approaching them. They try to run away from it, but the strange globe is able to absorb and send them all into outer space.
They are able to find a nearby spaceship and upon collecting their luggage, they are able to board it safely. When Kanata asks if everyone is here and if they're hurt, Zack Walker says that there is one person missing. Ulgar Zweig looks outside and sees that Aries is still floating outside, with her thrusters and communications unable to work. Kanata volunteers to go out and rescue Aries while the rest of the group watch over the cord tying him to the ship. He is able to successfully grab Aries and bring her back to the ship where she thanks him repeatedly. As the group wonders how they can get out of their situation, Zack is working on the ship's coordinates and finds some disturbing information. He says that they are no longer above Plane McPa and that they are 5,012 light-years away from their original location. The group could do nothing but react with shock at this news.
First Aid - Quitterie has a broad amount of medical training, which she was taught by her mother as a way of ensuring that her mind would be prepared to fulfill her purpose. She uses her knowledge to act as the Astra's doctor.
Olive Raffaeli Edit
Her mother kept her distance from Quitterie when she was a child, preventing them from growing close and stirring in her confusion as to why her mother treated her as she did. She holds out hope that her mother privately loves her until Astra's visit to Icriss; she and the rest of the crew then abandon their "familial" ties, choosing to act as a family themselves.
Funicia Raffaeli Edit
Aries Spring Edit
At first, Quitterie repels Aries' attempts at friendship, claiming she "doesn't need friends". Later in the series, however, Aries manages to break through Quitterie's cold exterior, and the two end up becoming close friends.
Kanata Hoshijima Edit
Primavera dell'Ariete Edit
Zack Walker Edit
As Zack was the son of one of her mother's coworkers, Zack is the person to which she is the closest. She tries to many years to elicit some sort of romantic response from him, a pursuit complicated by his passive, non-emotional demeanor. She only succeeded when she stated her feelings to him clearly on Icriss, leading to them becoming engaged and married.
