The Imperial District of Vixia (ヴィクシア王政地区?) is where the world's kings and nobles live. The current king for most of the story is King Noah Vix. After team B-5 returns, though, Charce becomes the new king.

In the year 2063, the world's surviving population had relocated from Earth to Astra using portal generation devices from the corporation Vixia. Because of this, Vixia was granted permission to form a kingdom independent from the rest of the world. Due to the wars that had destroyed half the world's population, all other nations were abolished. This knowledge, however, is only known to a select few in Vixia, and the rest of the world hears a different story that puts the year of the war as 1963 and removes the part about relocating worlds.
Though technically the supreme ruler, the king is a mere figurehead as all political power resides in the world government. Life in the imperial district is, in a word, pastoral and the people live simply, with excess technological advances actively forbidden. In fact, the whole district seems to be modeled on an idealized version of a medieval European kingdom. It is a popular tourist destination, visitors flocking to it for its fairy tale-like atmosphere.
However, the center of the district is walled off. All commoners and tourists are forbidden entry, for that is where the nobility and royalty live. The imperial district is the one district in the world where the caste system still exists. The royals and those families historically connected to them are the nobility, and they comprise about 20 percent of the population.
